2.  zugedanit (1946) | 1 year ago |  The size of farms have got larger due to amalgamation of smaller farms into larger units i.e. were there was once 4 small farms there may now only be 1 large farm.
The number of farm workers has decreased due to the increased use of machinery. Further with the increased size of fields even bigger machines are being used, meaning that one farm worker can now do the work of many and in a shorter time period.
