| Decorating dorm rooms | | | | I live in a college dorm room and everything is just so plain. The walls are white and made out of blocks. I need some decorating ideas for my dorm room to make it more homey and fun to live in. I am not allowed to paint, nail, or hang wallpaper/border on the walls. Nothing permanent, everything has to be able to come off the wall, windows, etc. Any ideas? | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |

| | Hi and welcome to myLot! First go to a fabric store and find a fabric that you like...either a cool print or a solid one. Or, depending on which college you are in, you might even be able to find a sheet set of your college! Use the little white things by 3M (the name of them escapes me) to hang a large piece of fabric to the wall. Then, you will have a backdrop onto which you can hang other items! You can use straight pins and put up pictures of friends or anything to that fabric! You can also put criss-cross ribbons onto that fabric and then just slip photos in behind the ribbons! Good luck! | | | | | | | crazynurse (5813)

| | I meant to add that the little white things by 3M don't leave any damage to the wall and are great to use on dorm walls or anywhere where you aren't allowed to damage the walls. | | | | | | | Top 2011 Online Grants Grant funding may be available - Go Back to School! www.ClassesUSA.com | add comment | | | |

Cupcakes have been the in thing for a while but I rarely buy them because I like to do my own...
