What age did you start feeding your baby cereal?  

If I had followed the doctor's instructions, my children would not have had any cereal until they were six month's old. Phewy on that idea! I did what my grandmother did. At about two weeks of age, I started introducing a tablespoon of cereal once a day mixed a bottle of formula for about a month. I found that the baby would sleep through the night if I put in their night time bottle. Then at 1 month, I started spoon feeding small amounts of cereal once or twice a day. At 2 months, I started mixing cereal with the fruits. Then I started introducing the vegetables and the last thing I introduced was the meats since it is the hardest for them to digest. By then we were at 6 month's. And the whole time the doctor thought we were only doing formula. HA!
I have some of the healthiest children and no, they are not fat.

It's hard to remember that far back....LOL...but I'm pretty sure they were all right around six months old when we started feeding them cereal.

with my first child the doctor recommended mixing cereal in my breast milk at 2 months to help her hold it down longer. the first doctor i took her to wanted me to give her medicine that could cause seizures and headaches and i refused. the doctor got really mad at me so i switched. i told the new doctor and he was mad. wanted to know why this doctor had my newborn go through an upper gi and why he would suggest such a medicine. this doctor did an ultrasound and saw the same thing the upper gi showed. which was gerd. her muscle lining never finished devolping so the flap between the stomach and the esophagus was always open just a little. but my second daughter i waited till she was 4 months as recommended.

At 6 weeks old I started putting cereal in his bottle Then by 4 months old he was eating plain cereal.

I didn't follow the doctors guidelines. I lived far away from my Mom, who you usually depend on to guide you. Anyway, I the baby was crying all the time and not sleeping for more than an hour at a time at night. I called Mom and she said add ceral to the bottle and make the hole alittle bigger. It worked wonders. She was about 6 weeks old. I started feeding it to her when she was about 3 months.

Both my kids started at 4 months old.

2 months. My kid was hungry! Dr said as soon as she can roll over. She was not rolling but I kept her up for a while then let her sleep after her food would settle.

my oldest around 5 month my other kids a little younger like 3 months because they were always hungry and they go thru a bottle too fast

my daughter was 6 months old and my son, he was 4 months old.
