Does your baby sleep through the night?

My first baby slept all night from the time I brought her home from the hospital. I swear she came out on a schedule, lol. My son wasn't too bad for getting up at night, he usually got up for a feeding until he was around seven months old, then he too was sleeping all night. My youngest didn't sleep for the first year of her life, lol. But she wasn't hungry, she just suffered from colic and cried all the time:(. It was a rough year, but it did pass and she started sleeping through the night eventually.

My baby still gets up all the time throughout the night, she is 20 months and still wakes up to be changed or because she wants something to drink . She is also scared of the dark and so I am always jumping up in the middle of the night to go to her to make sure she is alright .

well my children are no longer babies but my first child never slept through the night. she slept during the day. she would be awake from 11pm to 6am everyday. it was so hard. no one wanted to babysit her when i had to work midnights and my husband had to work in the morning. she had gerd so she ate every hour because she threw up all the time. she would be breast feeding and throw up on my breast and i would have to stop feeding her to clean up then start feeding her again. it was horrible. how i had another child i don't know. my second was much much better. she only woke up once during the night to be fed and she actually went to sleep at 8pm every night.

I don't remember exactly when my children started to sleep through the night. I think that the oldest and the youngest were about 4 months old, and the middle one was more like 6 or 7 months.

Lucky me, my son sleeps through the night. I usually get 11-12 hours that he sleeps. Who could ask for more

It has been along time ago with my children and I really can't remember without digging out their baby books. I am ashamed of that fact. I know my granddaughter started sleeping through the night around the age of 6 months. She woke up at 6 am but I still consider it sleeping through the night.

Amazingly, she does. She's turning 5 months this Sunday but she started sleeping through the night even before she turned 3 months old.

She was a cry baby during her first two months but somewhere along the way things changed and she started making things easier for me. And even up to now all I have to do if ever she wakes up in the middle of the night is breastfeed her and she falls back into sleep.

my 5-month-old still wakes up at least once every night for feeding & diaper change. i can't wait for him to sleep though the night so i can have a decent sleep - that's what i miss most.
