Ideal Graduation Gift  

A gift certificate to Best Buy, or Circut city.

One gift I have given to graduates, young married couples, and widows is a stamp holder with a roll of stamps in it.

The recipient has never failed to be delighted with the gift, because at times like graduation, weddings, and funerals, people usually send cards and gifts, leaving the honored person many thank you notes to send out, and requiring them to spend cash, which may be in short supply, for stamps.

You can get a lovely little stamp dispenser at a stationery store like Office Depot or Staples, for only 2 or 3 dollars. The post office sells rolls of 100 stamps for $39.

If you want to spend less, simply count off half the stamps in a roll and save the rest for the next gift. I have several stamp dispensers in a drawer at home along with a half roll of stamps waiting for the next gift occasion.

This gift is easy to wrap. The dispenser comes in a little square box so, after I put the stamps in the dispenser, I return it to its box and wrap it in appropriate paper. All ready to go. I can assure you, your friend will appreciate this gift and think of you every time he peels another stamp off his roll.

If you want to spend even less, there are flat books of stamps available at the Post Office of 12 or 24 stamps I believe. They fit nicely into a greeting card so no fancy wrapping is necessary.

a friend or a boyfriend? what course? Information Technology? will the best gift you could give is a pc :D, but i think he has that already.
What counts in giving is the thought that, someone special to him gave him a gift. Just think of something memorable like edited pictures of both of you and frame it.
I think he is really special, because you were really bothered for a gift.

I think the ideal gift you could give to this guy is a flash driver. This would cost you less than $10 for 128mb, Less than $20 for 512mb, the bigger the better.
