Ford F-150 Beltminder Disable  |

|  Greetings:
I have a 2006 Ford F-150, whose seatbelt reminder drives me crazy. I wear my seatbelt religiously when out driving, but I do a lot of stop and go, in and out driving on the farm, and this seat belt alarm is a major annoyance.
I have tried following the manufacturers recommendations for disabling the beltminder, but this only works for a little while.
Does anyone know how I can disable this annoyance? Any help is appreciated.

| |  I actually know how to do this,hahaha.
Remove the sensor from inside the bit where the belt clips into,works every time,but it can be a job getting this apart,or back together again,and then do the same for the other belts,although that shouldnt matter if the seat is not occupied.

| | You beast. I should have known you would know how to do this. I'll try to see if I can get into the bit the belt clips into. I was going to go to a salvage yard and buy a belt, just cut off the belt, and keep the metal part clipped into the bit thingy.

| |  My husband permenantly disabled his. I don't know how he did it, but he is an electrician. He once disconnected the smoke alarm in a hotel room so he could smoke. I'll try to find out for you.
