I had a very rough night last night!!

If you have been reading my posts and reply's then you know that I am not one to go to bed early. So last night I went to bed around 3:30 am......well I laid in there an listened to the neighbors upstairs fighting......ok, no biggie they do that all the time, no matter what time it is! Personally, I do not think that these people sleep much at all! Well, I listened to it for like 40 min, the screaming, the cussing, the yelling, then all of a sudden......BAMB! Things started flying and hitting the walls, and the floor, so I called 911, The police came, and after about 5 min, I heard someone hollering out in pain. I am like, oh no, well, then I heard thump, thump thump........They took a lady to Jail, and she was not going! So the police dragged her down the steps......and got her outside, she still would not stand up, after them pleading with her, so, I heard, "Ok, if you will not go willingly, we will drag you to the car" They proceeded to drag her out on the sidewalk, where the cold and ice cement, finally she decided to stand up.......and walk out to the car! Did it stop there? Oh no!! I went back to bed, and not 5 min later, another fight broke out! This time, just yelling and screaming......that I can deal with. Well, about 5 or 6 am I finally got to sleep. Only to hear a loud knock at the door at 10 am! now, anyone that knows me, when I get woke up, and have not had my coffee, it is not a pretty sight! So I went to the door, it was the police!! "Is this apt 1 or 2"? i told them apt 1, ooops, they wanted apt 2! I thanked them for waking me up (very nicely) and shut the door, what they wanted this time, I have no idea. but the cheif was there too, so it can't be good news! I do not know if I can do many more days like this!! lol

This sounds like a good story brewing. I do feel for you if you had to get up and go to work but this is real life drama. Lucky for you bullets didn't start flying. Sounds like you did the right thing by keeping quiet and staying out of it. I would talk to the landlord and strongly suggest that he start eviction proceedings to keep a murder from occuring up there. You might remind him that once a murder occurs it is very hard to fill vacancies in the building.

I don't think I have to worry about shooting, for She is on HUD, ( a program that helps pay your rent, or pays all of it ) in her case, she does work, but doesnt' make enough to cover rent. And one of the HUD rules is NO GUNS, but......That doesn't mean they are not up there. I did email the landlord right after I called 911, and let her know, I do have a feeling that is why the police were here this morining. but I am not sure.

Sounds like your neighbors are nuts. I would move of have the landlord evict them for noise and their conduct. I don't sleep at night much either but 6 am that's a little much. I guess her legs must have hurt from being dragged. I never understood why they put up a fight if they already have you. It's just dumb.

I am locked into an 18 month lease here, but if things do not change, I am sure I can break the lease and be ok......It wasn't her legs that she was worried aobut.....by the time they got her to the bottom of the steps, her jeans and panties were down to her knees, and she was laying on the concrete with no covering on her butt! That is what made her decide to stand up, I bet she has a cement burn on her rear. The police got a free shot though.

That's really not the spot you want dragged. LOL. Good for her. Maybe if they weren't being rediculous this wouldn't have happened. Good luck with the neighbors.

Oh man, what a rough day! I wish that the apartment next door to you was more peaceful. Maybe once the cops get through there, it will be, lol. I really hope that you can sleep better tonight. I know that I don't like functioning on a very few hours of sleep, and I don't know many people who do. I'm sure that things will calm down eventually, but boy does it sound like you have some 'interesting' neighbors. My goodness... I just hope that tonight is easier for you.

Oh man.

i can relate to this more than you could think, although i won't go into that. hopefully it'll settle down and they stop =)

It's annoying be waken up because people can't respect peace and quiet and respect our fellow neigbours. I didn't sleep well last night either, i've been catching up all day. (Which is why it's a late reply from me)
