I am a Phillies fan and I think the game that stands out the most is when the phillies were playing a double header with the cubbies. It was years ago, probably in the early 90's.They kept having rain delays and by the time the second game was over,it was almost 6 am in the morning! As for a favorite moment,it would be when I finally got to see Mike Schmidt finally hit a home run.I had been anxiously waiting to see mike hit one but year afteryear,my family and I left the game disappointed.Mike Schmidt had declared he was retiring at the end of the season so we decided to go see him play one last time.He stepped up to the plate,we heard the crack of the bat,saw it flying-not to excited figuring it was gonna be a fly - but much to our amazement, the ball continued to fly right over the wall! A home run after all these years! I will never forget that game nor the fact that they were playing the mets whom i can't stand and kicked their butts!

This is not a favorite, but it is the most memorable and heartbreaking in recent times for the Cubs. In 2003 the Cubs only needed one more win against the Marlins to make it to the world series, a fan I think his name was Steve Bartman caught a foul ball and kept Alou from catching the ball and making the innings 2nd out. Before the cubs could get the next two outs the Marlins were able to make 8 runs, won that game and won the next night. I was heart broken and could hardly watch the next season, they were just so close!!!

Ah,that's a shame. i remember seeing that on the news. I am surprised that fan made it out of the stadium alive! lol . I know it's very frsutrating no matter what team you root for. Fans like that drive me crazy. They want to catch a ball and don't care what they have to do to get it and it's ridiculous.

Mark McGwire tying Roger Maris' record and Stan Musial hitting 3000 hit. I actually got to see both in person.

My favorite baseball moment of all time was when the Phillies won the World Series against the Kansas City Royals when I was younger. I still remember Tug McGraw jumping up and down after getting the last out and the team running to the mound in celebration. It was the most wonderful moment that I remember in baseball. As you know, I am a phillies fan as well.

Oh yea, lol,I know you're a Phillies fan!that was wonderful watching Tug McGraw jumping up!I was so proud of the phillies but there was just something so special seeing Mike hit the homer the last time we ever got to watch him play baseball, especially after never being able to get to see him hit one before.
