Children in Pageants

I find nothing wrong in having ones child enter baby beauty pageants as long as the child is not pressured to enter and that the child actually like to be in the pageant. I know a lot of kids who really like to join pageants and seem not to mind the pressures and stress involved in the preparation and competition itself. I have a niece who likes to model around and dance wonderfully and puts on a show for the family. So me and my sister thought that we could let her join the some baby pageants but once we brought it up with my niece, she wasnt really sure that she would be happy about joining one so we just forgot about letting her join. It would only be wrong if the parents would insist and pressure the child. Joining pageants is also stressful for the child when the child doesnt win and that as parents we should make sure that we talk to the child about losing and what it means.
