I prefer to write by using pen instead of pencil. I perticularly write by using ink pens

At work I normally use pen more often. Very seldom I use my pencil. Though both are basics and if youre working in a office you really need both of them.

For the majority of my personal documentations and literary communications, a pen is preferred. I especially treasure pens fashioned on the lathe utilising Australian timbers, as these seem to generate their own mood or feeling. For example, my Jarrah pen is utilised for practical work, such as making shopping lists or reminders of objects to purchase, while my Pine or Cedar pens are favoured for personal communications, letters and notes to particular people. The Camphor Laurel pen I use for drafting newspaper articles and other items intended for publication; it is its persistent aroma I find stimulating, lending a lively energy to the creative process.

I really don't write too much by hand anymore. But, I use a pencil for some things, and a pen for others. Mostly, I use a pen. But, for example, if I'm doing my mileage cards for work, I use a pencil. But, like I said, I rarely ever write things by hand anymore.

I'll write with anything handy, but given the choice, I prefer a pen. I like the contrast of the ink on the page, and find it smoother to write. I wonder what it is like to write with one of those really expensive pens - you know, the ones worth tens of thousands of dollars?
