Who's your favorite artist?  

What about people like Boney James? Dave Koz, Chris Botti, Anita Baker.....The list is huge. You don't like any of those? Or are you selecting from a certain style of Jazz? I like most Jazz, instrumentals, etc. But, the Smooth Jazz rocks the best.....best part is, while there may not be many radio stations that carry good Jazz music, you can locate it on-line on certain on-line Jazz stations. Have your credit card handy b/c if you want to download the music there will be a fee.

I really can't tell you who is my favorite.. I love a lot of jazz musicians and there are a lot of different jazz tipes. Some names that come to my mind are: Hermeto Pascoal, Egberto Gismonti, Miles Davis, Naná Vasconcelos, Zimbo Trio, Gato Barbieri, Jaco Pastorious, ..........
And I don't even talk about of a lot of others very well known like Louis Armstrong or Ella Fitzgerald...

my favorite artis of course mr. george benson, his the best even in his ages, for the band, my favorite band is the legend earth wind & fire, they are very very wonderful and i just can't say no more..

I love Billie Holliday; She was awesome, and to be honest, I don't believe she realized the depth of her talents as well; I also enjoy Lester Young, Coleman Hawkins, Count Basie, Dave Brubeck(Take Five is awesome),John Coltrane, Miles among others. I just cannot put it on one person. I adore Ella Fitzgerald, Shirley Horn(I was sorry that she passed recently but love her work) and I could go on.
