X17 Won't Bite The Hand That Feeds Them

Generally speaking, X17 would not be able to sue Britney for anything in this situation unless the car was their property. If that's the case, they'd only be able to sue for the damages that she caused to the car, and possibly attorneys' fees. I don't believe they'd get anything out of her in the way of punitive damages.

However, if the photographer she assaulted decides to press charges or file suit against her, that's another matter entirely. X17 doesn't have the authority to file a lawsuit on the photographer's behalf, but he can choose to do so on his own. Whether or not it actually goes to trial would be a different thing. I think in this situation Britney's attorneys would probably just advise her to pay a settlement to the photographer if it seemed like it would go before a court of law.
