In an intimate relationship, which do you think is the best to last, the one you just met (could be months or weeks), the one whom you've known for a long time (started as friends) or the one you never thought you'd like but you did eventually?
In my case, my wife and I started as childhood friends, but never really a friend like who's-there-for-you-type when in times of trouble. Kind-a-like a play buddy, but with an age gap of three years. But then fate came through, eruption of a volcano, Mt. Pinatubo, caused us to part ways. The best memory I had with her is when she was like 7 years old and I was 10 then. Since then, I've never seen her for years. Then 13 years pass, I saw her again. I never imagined she'd grow up to be a very beautiful lady. It was love the moment I saw her (who could resist lusty feeling, LOL!). My goodness, was she hot or what? Anyways, she busted my for like 10 times with a big NO WAY! So I gave up and went on to seek a different partner. Two years pass, I gave her a ring for some invites for a local band concert. Luckily she did agree to come. Then magic happened. Could it be the beer or too much tequila she drank. Then a series of dates went on. She told me, "don't expect anything out of these please". Honestly, I didn't. I was happy having her that close as a friend (who the hell could take away lust from a guy, horny me!).
Then after a few months, bham! Magic. We were having... I didn't expect things to be that way. I married her and were now close to our seventh year with a five year old daughter and a 8 month incoming.
Sum it all up, in my case, the best and lasting relationship I had is the one that I totally have no clue of having (atleast on the later part).
Which one are you having?
