I have just met this guy today on the internet a site called Afrointroductions, his name is Scot and he comes from Canada. He seemed like a great guy when we talked, very understanding and accommodative. We talked like for over four hour and all the time i was happy and breathless and laughing. He says the most great things and he compliments when you say something of sense. After two hour of discussion he gave me his e-mail address and I sent him my pictures which he said are great. he told me that I an beautiful and he would like to know me better. Now my dilema is that i have heard so many bad things about on-line dating and me being from Africa i.e Uganda I could so easily be taken in Human trafficking and the like. Do you guys think that the internet is a good place to meet a future husband? Do I give this guy a chance? And how di I proceed from here? Thanks guys.

Don't be afraid to sign-up for multiple websites services or change services midstream if you are not satisfied. The goal is to meet new people and land dates. If a particular site is not meeting your needs move on before you invest more money in an ineffective dating strategy.

if you just met this uy you should give it time i mean dont go running off to meet him right off, i met my husband on line and we talked for a few months before we met, sometimes it works out and sometimes not, but be carefull. also if you do go to meet him be sure someone knows where you are going and how long you intend to be gone, give them a number so they can check on you.

Online Dating...a good thing? - There is always to sides...just be cautious!
I would say that you should proceed with caution. I have done some online dating myself before I got married and none of them panned out. But on the other hand, I have a friend who met her husband through an online dating service. So it just really depends on the person. I would say that if you have an opportunity to do a background check on the person you are wanting to marry, do it. There are too many flakes out there nowadays and you cant be too careful. Good luck!
