Do you ever find yor self buying something and then already having one at home?

Do you ever find your self buying something you need and then when you come home you find you already have the stuff.I have so many boxes of unopened toothpaste it isnt funny.I have finally resorted to a list that way it will keep me in check as to what I really need instead of buying extra of the same stuff I already have at home.I can understand like say you are about to run out of milk or something but eventually if you keep doing it you will run out of sapce.Sometimes I will buy like 2 different bands of shampoo.But then I think should I really buy 2 kinds or stick to one and then buy the other scented shampoo another time.
