Gawad Kalinga is similar to Habitat?

yes it is...well that is very useful for poor kababayans here in the philippines

yeah you know we did that last year. I think around october or november we were told by our teacher that we are task to build houses for the poor in Las Pinas. This a project of Gawad Kalinga.

When we reached the place, the lot is really big so i was so excited to build for the poor ones. Its a little dirty but you know when you want to help you dont mind the negative sides. We carried many bricks and sands, we helped the construction workers. We were also instructed to do this and do that. It was really fun even though we worked under the sun.:)

I think the most important is giving from the heart. Helping others coming from our hearts is a really big help.
The poor ones will feel that they have a shoulder to lean on to.

Building houses for the poor is a very nice experience in my life and i would be proud of it too.
