| Sens win calmer rematch with Sabres  | | | |  Jason Spezza and the Ottawa Senators particularly enjoyed their latest win.
Spezza scored his second goal of the night on a power play with 4:07 remaining and Ottawa beat the Buffalo Sabres 6-5 Saturday in a rematch of their fight-filled game two days earlier.
"It was definitely satisfying," Spezza said. "We wanted to win one and beat these guys. We have a pretty good rivalry with them now and the win was important to us."
Dany Heatley got his team-leading 36th goal and set up both of Spezza's goals for the Senators, who recovered after blowing a three-goal lead.
"They never give up," Heatley said. "We had the lead on them in Buffalo the other night and they came back and eventually won in the shootout. Tonight, we had the lead on them and they never quit. They kept coming at us."

| |  Considering the fact that the Sabres have 8 veteran players off on the injured list and have had to call up 5 rookies from the farm team in Rochester, they played an awesome game tonight and all of us in Buffalo are proud to call them our team! One of our injuries is our top goal scorer, Chris Drury, who was injured in Thursday's game against Ottowa as a result of a cheap hit which is the subject of a lot of talk in the NHL right now. I was at that game, and believe me it WAS a cheap hit. Chris did not have possession of the puck and that hit from behind, which caused a head injury which is most likely a concussion, was uncalled for. No matter, though- the Sabres are still going to bring the Stanley Cup to Buffalo!
