I liked it so much I bought it for my kids the minute I found it. I got the original one with Judy Garland in it. (I think that's who it was anyways). My daughter was just little (about 2 I think) and the wicked witch of the west scared the beejeebers out of her. Now they both love it and actually watch it at least once every six months or so. I love watching it with them and watching them watch it. It's cute. They enjoy it just as much as I did when I was younger. And my son is getting a bit older now and the last time we watched it he commented on the difference between the newer computer animations and the "real old people" effects. LOL..

That was one of my favorit movies as a kid. even now I really love the movie. The Cowardly Lion was my favorite character. I thought he was sooo cute. He was the sweetest, and the most sensitive. I loved him, even though he had no courage.

The Wizard of Oz is one of the films I would see every year when I was young. It wouls air every year and i saw it at least 14 years straight. Then Cable became popular and CBS stopped airing it. My favorite character is the Scarecrow. He is so sweet. Now I have it on a VHS. Now it is TCM, Turner Classic Movies that airs it every 4th of July.i still love to see it.

I grew up watching "The Wizard of Oz" every year at Christmastime. I loved it then, and I love it now. And I still watch it every year--I still want to be 'Glinda' also :)

I was definitely not a fan of The Wizard of Oz when I was growing up. Everytime it was on my mother forced us to watch it. Even today I can't stand to watch that movie.

When I was younger, I saw this movie as an inspiration. I was taught that if you believe in something enough, then anything is possible.

The Wizard of Oz is a classic movie. I loved watching it as a child and now as an adult. My children love to watch this movie too. It is one of those movies that be watched over and over.

The Wizard of Oz is my favourite movie of all time. I have some collectibles too.. nothing much, but they make me happy.

Another good movie to see is called "Dreamer of Oz"... it stars John Ritter as L. Frank Baum, and explains how he came about to writing this book. The movie starts and ends at the official movie premiere... it's just lovely to get a bit of background on such a classic. :)
