I know I am in love when I find myself doing things I don't normally do---doing things for the person I love...I sacrifice, I do things that would please that person, etc...I also know I'm in love when I find myself standing up for that special someone no matter what my family or friends or other people say= )

I knew that I was in love when I couldnt stop thinking about him and I wanted to be with him all the time. I knew I was in love when it hit me before I realized it. I guess it really does happen when you least expect it.

When I decided I was "in love" with my wife, not just that I "loved" her.... that was the day I knew that she was going to be my wife.

It was kind of like this for me: A giddy sensation (which is not so normal for me), followed by an assurance. I knew that she was the girl I was going to marry in the same way that I know when I wake up tomorrow morning the sun will come up.

It does take time, though. Being in love isn't about the lightheadness, the butterflies, that stuff... not entirely anyway, because I still get that right now, but it's about sacrifice and dedication. People are so conditioned to be self-centered nowawadays that I think a lot less people are truly capable of falling in love, at least real love.

If you know after a few years that you would die for them if you had to, no questions asked.... you're in love. or crazy;) jj

you are the only person who knows that you are in love, you know yourself pretty well han others.

But there are a lot of symptoms that you would know that you are in love. the most common of all, when you tend to sacrifice everything just to make sure that the person will be happy. thats unselfish love to some sort the martyr type.

But really though simple as telling a person is really in love the other side of it is the pain that goes with being in love, but generally being in love is the best feeling that one could ever felt in his entire life.
