anyone do self defense or martial arts classes?

i use to when i was in high school.but now i just dont do it no more.i am working on my spiritual values for the love of the GOd/Goddess.

i am a taekwondo black belt.........n its 'taekwondo' not taikwondo.......
'tae'means use of legs.
'kwon'means use of hand
n 'do means use of both for the purpose of self defense.......
now if ur a newbie i must advice u to practice regularly....n its not goin to be very easy in the beginning .....u will have to practice hard......n stamina is the main thing so keep it up wid running daily atleast 2 km daily.....practice on da kickbag.......n meditate regularly.....to increase concentration in 'anja'
cos taekwondo is a game which requires a lot of concentration n quck decision taking ablities.......if u think for a moment-'which kick i should use now'
u will get a big bang on ur face n u will find urself out of da bout...wondering......'wat was dat"?........so these are da primary things.......if u want something more.......plz feel free to ask.....

I think that's great how you're doing Taekwondo with your kid, I wish I saw more of that in life, usually the parent just drops off the kid and goes off to do whatever it is they do. A lot of parents don't even watch, sure they might ask if class was good, but it would seem so much better if my mom took a class with me and said "wasn't class good today?" we would have so much more to talk about. You're a top notch parent in my book^.^ keep it up.

i do taekwondo regularly. i've participated in the yearly national competitions. its a great sport though, and its great for fitness and exercise too.

I am young man of 23 years and also a taekwondo instructor,i am sure that you enjoyed your last class.You should continue to go that class .Any martial art gives you better health and also assist you to be a self disciplined person.
