E.T.:A real tear-jerker.  | |  According to the UK's Channel 4 survey of which 70,000 voters took part,E.T. the movie has topped a poll of the 100 greatest tearjerking moment in TV,film or sport followed by 'The Green Mile' at no. 2 and 'Titanic'at no. 3.The classic 'Gone with the wind' stands at 14th whereas 'Dead Poets Society' falls at the bottom out of the 20 top all time tear-jerker movies.
Whilst according to reelreviews.com,'Of mice and men(1992)' tops the top tear jerker of all time followed by 'Where the Red Fern Grows(1974)'with a guarantee,these movies will drop a grown man to his knees.(Oh my teary weary eyes!)
Yesbutnobutyes.com has listed 'Brian's song' at number 1 followed by 'The Natural' and 'My Life' at no. 2 and 3 respectively among the top 10 tearjerker flicks for 'guys'.
Believe me i wasn't a judge here.But i was just curious how many of you have seen these chick flicks.Do you people like them?How many of us here dampens most of the tissue stacks?(Guys can just SMS me.lol).
And lets not also ignore some observer's claim that big boys do cry too(over movies).It says,it starts with a hard,walnut-sized lumb in the back of the throat.......

I can still remember crying my little heart out when I thought E. T. died in the movie. I had no handkerchief and I was sniffling like crazy. I came out of that movie, with red eyes and a swollen nose. It was definitely a tear jerker.
I have seen The Green Mile and Titanic, and though they made me feel sad, I did not really cry. I'm not really a fan of extremely sad movies, because for me, there is too much sadness in life already, I'd rather go to the movies to laugh and be entertained. However, I'm sure others would beg to disagree, and would claim that nothing is more relaxing than a good cry.

It was a excellent movie and the parts played each person made their character come to life for you. I have watched it more than once and each time it touches me just as it did the first time.
