Butterscotch Grahams  |

 Beleive it or not I made this when I was in high school and made it for my children as they grew
Most kids like it and its healthy since made from Graham Crackers...
Butterscotch Grahams
1 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
24 graham crackers
Combine butter and sugar in saucepan.
Bring to boil - Boil 3 minutes stirring.
Stir in nuts
Line Baking Sheet with graham crackers.
Spread mixture over crackers.
Bake 10 minutes @ 325
Cut into bars while warm makes 24 cookies.

I think you like cakes very much...this recipe seem simple but good..above all for children...only a question...what are Graham crackers? are a famous kind of crackers there? I have never heard Graham before!!!

Is there supposed to be vanilla in this recipe? for some reason I thought butterscotch had vanilla in it, and without the vanilla it is more a caramel. maybe I am confused, that happens from time to time.

| 5. paintedneedlelady (75) | 3 years ago |  Since we are sharing recipes, here is a quick and easy recipe for pizza.
Take a tortilla, whole wheat or spinach goes well with this, and bake it at 400 for 8 minutes on a baking sheet.
Take it out of the oven and spread it with your favorite spagetti sauce, either canned or home made, and you can add crushed tomatoes, green and red peppers, mushrooms, onions etc., (If using fresh onions, peppers, and mushrooms, sautee them until soft while the tortilla is in the oven.)
Cover the pizza with grated mozzerella cheese and return to the oven for about 15 minutes at 400 until the cheese is melted and light brown.
Remove from the oven and enjoy! This makes a great pizza for one, or you can do three or four for friends.
