The scene that got me off my seat |
|
Night at the museum is great. i watched it with my family at home, and we were cracking out laughter at each other. My favorite parts are: 1. ben stiller and the monkey exchanging slaps! woot, this scene rocks! 2. ben stiller trying to tame mean Atilla! there are other parts of the movie that were hilarious, but these two made a mark. So, which one are your bets?

4. muralikumar2005 (518) | 1 year ago | I had semi-high hopes for this one. The story really seemed to be original and fun and really harkened back to the 80's and 90's when movies had some of the most original and kooky storylines around. The high notes of this movie was really Micky Rooney. For those of us who even remember who these men were it really adds some extra pazazz to the movie and they do a good job in it. That really about does it for the high notes. Surprisingly the CG visuals were just okay and even sub-par on others (miniature guys standing next to a "giant" looked like something out of Clash of the Titans). Also, anyone who would be a witness to the magical museum coming to life would have a more sensational reaction to it - Ben Stiller's boy in the movie seems to see that kind of thing often I guess. This one's definately for the kids as far as truly enjoying it. Go into this one to be (maybe) entertained, not to see a "good" movie.

5. LilyoftheThorns (3126) | 1 year ago | I also love when Ben Stiller and the monkey are slapping either...Robin Williams: "Why are you slapping that monkey?" Ben Stiller: "This guy has been pushing me and pushing me..." lol I loved this movie, the whole thing was funny. I was laughing the whole time!

7. sunshinelady (4855) | 6 months ago | I was laughing throughout the whole movie. There were tears rolling down my cheeks. When the dinosaur started moving was excellent. A movie that is great and original I must say. There are so many take offs of like movies. So I would have to say the whole movie was great. There was no one scene to me that was better than the other. The whole movie was one that I have seen more than once and will see it again.

8. princesslexie1001 (1212) | 6 months ago | i've seen this movie in the theater and i must say i really liked it... Although i felt bad for the caveman that got away and turned into dust... the "gum gum" scenes were also hilarious... but i was really terrified with the trex and lion chase... i keep imagining that it will happen to me as well... XOXOX

9. Modestah (7288) | 6 months ago | I rarely enjoy modern comedies - thank you for reminding me of this one. It is one that I actually really enjoyed viewing, it had a story line - was funny and a little suspenseful - and as you say there were some great laughable scenes in it. I like the two you pointed out, as well.
