| Not to exciting  | | | |  Iam asking about a car muffler.My car sounds like it's a race car shooting for the moon,my husband looked under the car to see if he could fix it and he says it's broke off from the main piece underneath.I dunno nothing about car mufflers thats why iam asking will we need to buy a whole new muffler or do you guys think it can just be welded?

| | yes you will need a new muffler.the old muffler is all to heck,and there is no replacing it.yeah sure you can weld it togeather,but finally it will eventually fall out again.so in the long run i suggest you buying a brand new muffler for it.you need to do it asap.b/c of the law and such.the muffler isnt hard at all to put it on,it is just getting someone to put it on.mufflers range from different prices.i wouldnt gete one from the junk yard,it will be in the same shape later on and may be even worse than your first one.auto zone sells them real cheap.you can check online for a price check at auto zone.they will give you the price for a brand new one.
