 Well i dont throw a party for birthday,,,,,,,and in fact i never did so it sounds a bit strange to me if someone ask me to throw a party for birthday.

We celebrate the birthdays of our baby in the family, then for my children we just have a family-affair sort of celebration, and for myself, forget it. What for? So people will know how old I am? I stopped looking forward to my birthdays after I turned 18. For me, I don't want people to be asking me many times how old I am. They do that when they know it is your birthday. And people here expect that you will spend your whole-month's income for a birthday blow-out.

2.  pramodthakur (2181) | 3 years ago |  We used to celebrate birthday till 14 yrs of age then I stopped it. It looked me uneasy to celebrate, have friends and crowd etc. That was nice moment for me. Now I do not celebrate any. Though go to market to buy clothes, shoes, sweets etc. But no any party like things, sometimes friends ask for a mini party then it is ok, I arrange at any restaurant.

| 5. mdarma (646) | 3 years ago |  Well at the age of 60+, it does not excite me any longer. I enjoy celebrating my childerns ( both of them are about 30rs) they too are slowly losing this interest. They prefer to be with their friends. I understand that.
Now, my hope is to look forward for my grand kids. Which I do not have any, both my childern are still single now.
Sigh!!!!
