We are off on a short weekend getaway..!

My husband and I are going to Houston for the weekend. My husband's very close friends live there and they've been inviting us since long. The last time we went to Houston was around the same time last year.
My hubby's friends came over and stayed with us for Thanksgiving. So now it's our turn to go. I enjoy their company and am looking forward to this short weekend getaway:)
We are leaving today evening and coming back on Sunday night. I will not be able to myLot from there, so I will be inactive over the weekend.
I will catch up with all of you once I'm back. Hope you have a fabulous weekend too:)

Have fun GG! Not having a computer when your away will help you relax more and concentrate on having a good time. Being just a couple of days away from your computer will not bring in the withdrawal symptoms so you will be refreshed when you return.

OH, That sounds like fun. I hope you enjoy yourself. The weather here is miserabe. I wish I could go on a weekend get away. We will miss you on mylot though.Have fun and tell us all about it when you return.

Have a great weekend, is Houston far away from you, will it be a short drive, or a long drive? I had my weekend away last weekend and it went far too quickly and this weekend is a quiet weekend for me, I may go out tonight or tomorrow see how I feel! Safe journey to you both, and enjoy!

I love weekend getaways. They give us time to do something that is not normally part of our daily routine. When we go off for the weekend, I enjoy myself to the fullest. You have a great time visiting with your friends. Relax and enjoy. Huggers to you ant the hubby.

Unfortunetly, i have no plans for the weekend even though it is my favorite indian festival on sunday (HOLI)...Sigh.. i gotta go to work ! :( But.. hey.. you freak out and have a blast. do tell us about it once back. take care !

Thanks Jo, I'll sure miss you all and myLot of course. I can't imagine what I'll do for two days without logging onto myLot..hehe! It's a pity you have to work on Holi too. My friends here are celebrating Holi, my hubby and I are gonna miss it. But its ok since we are going to meet our other friends. Hey you know what play Holi at work..lol ;o)

Oh how lovely it is great when we can get away and see our friends, I bet you will have a wonderful time there and hopefully when you return that we hear your progress of this trip. I am hoping to get away in a couple of months time when we have more holidays and it is not so hot.
