I can't believe no one else tried to help him. I would have done the same thing as you. What if that man had been seriously hurt and all those people just stood there?
I'm glad you did help him and get the paramedics out there.
I would have looked at those people and asked them why no one did anything. Then I would have found myself a new vet. What's wrong with those people?

I would have gotten up to help!! How can people just sit there? I would have asked the people at the vets office to do something with the snake, after they finally came out. People are just cruel sometimes. I am glad you were there to help him.

Oh my goodness! I definitely would have hoped up to help the man! I am shocked that no one got up to help him!!!! I am appalled that the staff there didn't want to stop to help! I understand they are busy...but I am certain that everyone in the waiting room would understand! Why would these people not want to get up to help???
I guess it is in my nature to help others. I have come upon accidents and have been the first to help. I was once at a store and a mother left her son with her older daughter to play...he decided to play on a slide outside and there was concrete blocks put up with wooden poles to prevent children from playing on them...but the sister allowed it anyways and when he slide down, he hit his face on the concrete block. I happened to be waiting in my car for my partner to come out when I saw it. I was the only one that ran to the child to assess the situation. And I proceeded to take the child to the front help desk and asked them to page the mother. Would you believe I even had to drive the mother to a emergency care to get stitches because she didn't want to call an ambulance?
The boy ended up needing 6 stitches in his eyebrow and a huge knot..but all else was good. :)
But that is who I am. I help. And I am surprised that the staff was reluctant to help. :) You did a great job! I am sure that man was glad you were there. :)

yes, i would o helped the man just as you did, yes, i have seen that, people do not help and then if it was them wonder why no one helps them. what are they scared of, i ask myself.but im glad you where there and im sure he was too. sad too that his snake got hurt, unbelievable that the staff did not help.

Hi,I am an emt so naturally I would have gotten up to help anf would have requested help fro the vet's staff.How caring are they going to be to your pet if a man can fall down in front of them without notice.I'm sorry but I would be looking for a new vet.
