Cash Crate and Treasure Trooper are SCAMS! |
|
I'm sure they're not the only ones either, just the most popular. If you think about what they do it should be obvious to anyone who takes part in the rip off.
Oh I'm not saying they cheat the people who join, of course they wouldn't do that! The scam is perpetrated against the poor advertiser that is offering a nice bonus for people to try their product or service. These are honest businessmen and women who are just trying to make an honest buck and are willing to give in order to receive.
So along comes CC and TT to exploit them, just like Fagin in Oliver Twist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oliver_Twist ). Instead of picking up street orphans to train as pickpockets, they find Internet Surfers and train them instead. They teach them to sign up for theses offers and just before they have to pay, cancel everything and bring the money back to CC and TT so you can keep a share.
Who do you think is making all the MONEY???? Just like Fagin, they have everyone scrambling to get a piece of the ill gotten gains.
What do you think?

11. kathyj (2475) | 3 years ago | I think you totally hit this one on the nail! I don't do any of the sign up for free trials cause I would forget to cancel them but I know alot of people on here are reporting that is what they do sign up and then cancel just to get the money out of the site they are with I have also read about cashcrate having all those surveys that leave cookies on your computer and leave it wide open for viruses.

Linguist (904) | 3 years ago | Where did you read this? I have been in computer support for many years and cookies have nothing to do with computer viruses.
If you have ever dowloaded a picture or a file and saved it manually to your hard drive, you have a much better chance of getting a virus that way.
Cookies do not have any thing to do with viruses. All websites use them. MyLot more then likely has a cookie on your hard drive.

12. tootsie101 (2765) | 3 years ago | thats terrible. As you say not fair to companies advertising. I do a site like troppers but all about signing up for information only. No trial periods or anything like that. I have found some need things at that site. And i get paid for looking at their web sites.

14. Bee1955 (3224) | 3 years ago | Buddy, your title will get you into trouble. Cashcrate is not a scam per sec. They pay their people and though what they do is not the best for everyone, it IS legal. SO liking them to pickpockets, etc. is slander and you have to watch it. Surfing on the net looking for bargains is the same as Cashcrate does, only they pay you fpr it. They have a list of bargains and its up to you to survey them or not. Cashcrate does not encourage or discredit anyone. If the bargain appeals to you, sign up to view it, if it doesnt then cancel. Thats what Cashcrate advises - not the definition you call a scam.

oldbuddy (5748) | 3 years ago | I NEVER did say they don't pay their pickpockets and sure didn't slander them. I also never said what they do is illegal, just immoral IN MY OPINION.

15. rbnstr08 (1653) | 3 years ago | As long as a site is asking for an order or payment, I forget about it. I have learned my lesson in a-z marketing where I was gyped of my hard earned $200.00. He said at first he wasn't responsible for those who he had recruited. Then feigned to reimburse me. After that he vanished into thin cyberspace.

andrianoxxl (622) | 3 years ago | I wrote about that problem. Where is the money? Webmaster may call you cheater anytime because you didnt look at the moon while signed up. Once I got mail you are suspended because more than 10% proxy traffic.OK I dont know how much proxis surf around maybe I made 15%. Why you took me all money, pay me 85% for my good work and than suspend me if you like. Now I work only no minimum and instant payuot sites.

16. stefan_diego (506) | 3 years ago | I agree with you, everytime i check out sites like this, it's the same old strategy. you don't need to pay, you'll be credit even if you cancel. All they teach you is to take advantage of cashbacks without trying the products. It sounds fishy right from the start.

| 17. messagecarol (47) | 3 years ago | Why would you say that? You make it sound like the consumer is running off with the product!! What's wrong with free samples, in order to get paid, the consumer has to complete the offer. If the offer is ordering a free trial, and they do that, what's the problem? Some of the advertisers are scams to and CHARGE UP CARDS, or NEVER CANCEL!! The advertiser wouldn't sign up if they weren't getting a good adverting deal either!! This is A GREAT WAY to get names, emails, adresses, and contact information for potential future customers as well. Please tell me how exactly you are getting ripped off?

|
oldbuddy (5748) | 3 years ago | I never did say I was getting ripped off, I simply said I don't like the idea of ripping off advertisers who are real people too. The consumer is not running off with the product in most cases, they cancel that to get the bonus they had no right to.

18. andrianoxxl (622) | 3 years ago | I dont have good experience with paid to sign up programs. I did it only once and whats happend? I got refferals on one site like I paid but all inactive. I dont think that its problem only for cash crate or treasure trooper thats problem for all PTSU programs. I think that biggest cheaters are webmasters. Why? They took money from advertisers and make job for them. I call it you got what you paid. Then any members could be "cheaters because bla bla bla" and not paid. Where is the money? In webmaster pocket. Same is with hyips and autosurfs but they just stop to work and run. This is one good search site and search anything if you have time. I think its the best PPC site on the net and good earner.

20. DavidReedy (1671) | 3 years ago | Personally, I think most of the internet is a scam. But, in this case of treasure trooper or the other company you mention I could not say. I joined treasure trooper a long time ago when I was just starting to look for ways to make money online, and the only beef I really had with treasure trooper is no one was really explaining to me how to possibly make any money whatsoever. What I find to be scams in the sense that they waste your time with promises and no deliveries are online surveys, paid-to-reads (I'm still waiting for my guaranteed "thousands of dollars"), and most online advertising sites. But, these places aren't that bad, because if you're into that affiliate business then you'll always be able to find someone who wants to buy into this junk and sell it to others who want to buy into this junk. THat's the way it is. What I'd like to know is who/what are the real big scam artists out there? Anyone have any runins with some individuals/companies that take your money and run? Let me know if you do. Thanks, David A. Reedy...
