Cash Crate and Treasure Trooper are SCAMS! |
|
I'm sure they're not the only ones either, just the most popular. If you think about what they do it should be obvious to anyone who takes part in the rip off.
Oh I'm not saying they cheat the people who join, of course they wouldn't do that! The scam is perpetrated against the poor advertiser that is offering a nice bonus for people to try their product or service. These are honest businessmen and women who are just trying to make an honest buck and are willing to give in order to receive.
So along comes CC and TT to exploit them, just like Fagin in Oliver Twist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oliver_Twist ). Instead of picking up street orphans to train as pickpockets, they find Internet Surfers and train them instead. They teach them to sign up for theses offers and just before they have to pay, cancel everything and bring the money back to CC and TT so you can keep a share.
Who do you think is making all the MONEY???? Just like Fagin, they have everyone scrambling to get a piece of the ill gotten gains.
What do you think?

| 21. bigfelah (44) | 3 years ago | As well as Mylot I am a new member of the 2 sites you have mentioned.I believe that by working hard on all these sites I may earn some much needed extra income. I grew tired of the ones I paid to join that were nothing but scams. The last was homeworkmadeez. I bought the rights to resell products that turned out to be nothing but shells or garbled reports, software and ebooks. I do hope others who have joined have had a better experience but sadly not I. Thank you for at least getting my guard up again in regards to cashcrate and treasure troopers. I don't think I could stomach much more at the rate I'm going. Who would of thought that by trying to work from home you would have to wade through so many scams. Its starting to make the office and daycare for bub look so appealing!!!

24. Lindalinda (2934) | 3 years ago | You have a good point here. It is not really ethical to sign up for an offer and then cancel before you have to pay. I was not aware you could make money with this. The Internet is full of scammers and you have opened my eyes that these scams are not only directed against the masses who want to make a little money here and there but also against businesses who spend a lot of money on advertising.

| 28. cyberbeggars (15) | 3 years ago | I completely disagree with your post Regarding Cash Crate and Treasure Troopers being Scams. What is a Scam? www.m-w.com says: A fraudulent or deceptive act or operation.
I know for a fact that Cash Crate and Treasure Troopers DO pay their members. Yes they may be exploiting the advertizers but it is the Advertizers responsibility to control where and how they advertize. If the advertizers feel that giving out free trials and samples is the most effective way to create new business then that is fine but they need to control where their ads are placed and who to advertize with!
just because Cash Crate and Treasure troopers are taking advantage of the comission they make and share it with their users I don't see anything wrong with that.
If Cash Crate and Treasure troopers where having people sign up for free trails and adding a balance to their CC or TT account and then never paid when payment was requested then You can call it a scam because that would constitue fraud!

oldbuddy (5748) | 3 years ago | You disagree because you obviously didn't read what I wrote. I didn't say they didn't pay their members at all.
No matter, you would probably disagree anyway, but just get straight with what you are disagreeing to.

29. Justareceptionist (668) | 3 years ago | I agree with andy rooney. Many of the posters ARE missing his point. I'm actual proof of it but haven't signed up to treasure trooper. I signed up for Cash Crate but never did an offer BUT I'm signed up for two other paid to sign up websites. They have paid me almost 50 dollars in the past week and never have I given these advertisers valid information. I figure I have nothing to lose if I'm making money by posting false information.
They ask for your zip? I'll do that but if they ask for my e-mail, I'll give them an invalid one or one I rarely ever use. I plug in false addresses and first and last names just so I can get my easy 2 bucks per offer. If I get caught, so what? There's tons of these out there.
