Has anybody been to Fota?

I went a few years ago and am thinking of going again this summer. When I was there they had giraffes and lemurs and a lot of waterfowl but I can't really remember what else. What sort of animals do they have now?

We were at Fota a few years ago and hope to go again this summer. I do remember the Buffaloes they were great, It was my first time seeing Buffalo. Also there were Wallabies and wombats. The thing I love about Fota is the fact that the animals are in huge areas ( which can be a problem when there down the other end of their enclosure) and if their not in enclosed areas their running pass you. Just a tip if you join Dublin Zoo as a member you get into Fota and a number of zoo's in the UK.

I didn't know that about the Dublin membership. I have people coming to visit in a few weeks and this would be a brilliant place to visit. The last time we were ther the lemurs were in the trees above our heads. We couldn't figure out why they didn't run everywhere because nothing really seemed to be keeping them in.
