Please help by suggesting a perfect Desktop PC Configuration  | |  One of my colleagues have almost made me crazy. He does not know how to operate a PC even but he is about to buy a new Desktop PC and wants me to suggest the configuration. But it is very difficult for me as I really do not know much about PC Hardware.
Anyway he needs:
1. A high end Processor and Motherboard - for multimedia work.
2. TFT Monitor
3. UPS
4. Inkjet Printer and Scanner
5. DVD-Writer and Pen Drive
Please specify the make and other necessary parameters. I'll send the complete configuration to him directly.
Hopefully some of you will come forward to give some real input.

| | | | | | 1.  lordwarwizard (9583) | 2 years ago |  Why don't you check out e.g. www.dell.com? It's one of the more popular brands around and though you do not need to buy from there necessarily, you can still try customising your ideal PC and get the relevant cost.
It would be a nice benchmark if you want to get your PC elsewhere.

I really do not have much idea about different manufacturers.So, Dell.com won't help. | |
