 Hello fellow collectors.......
I am offering FREE stamps to any collector in mylot. All I ask is that you send me a request for them by regular mail with good condition new stamps on your envelope. I am trying to collect a new cover/envelope from as many countries as possible. Just send me an email(PM) and I will give you my address.
The FREE items will be a mixture of 100+ mint and used world wide, US or a combination of both.......whichever you prefer.
Can you tell me a better way to get stamps for your collection?

4.  RealIolo (756) | 3 years ago |  Folks, this guy ROCKS! I have sent him three covers now and every round of mailings I send him he always makes a GREAT show! I mean, I feel bad on this last one like I am taking advantage of him or something. He sent me a super group of stamps! The postage on the envelope of the stamps he sent to me was three eight cent stamps from the late 1950s & 1960, Champion of liberty series! None of which I seem to have in my album but I can't mount them as he has me collecting covers now too! The rest of the postage was the six and nine cent stamps from the 1938 presidential series! I hope he doesn't send all his mail with postage like this. I mean, seventy year old stamps to pay for the postage! Talk about making an impression!
As for what was inside his mailing. I can only think of one word to describe what I got. "AWESOME"! If you collect stamps you really should take nrnotrare up on this offer. I can not imagine anyone would be disappointed!

I am in the process of creating a new type of collection. The basic idea is to acquire items of mail from all the countries involved with mylot and something from all of my mylot friends.
Would you be interested in something similar for yourself?
You must still be quite young, I don't consider items from the 1930's to be very old. Maybe it's just because they were very common items when I first started collecting.
All of the most expensive stamps in the world are used stamps. The one with the highest value is a used US stamp valued at more than three million dollars!!!
There are many stamps that are worth more used than mint. Newer items available at the post office now are extremely difficult to find used on cover/envelope as they were meant to be used, still in good condition. In the not too distant future collectors will be very interested in locating these items for their collections. Not everything will be worth a lot but the small amount of material being saved will create a shortage which will limit what is available for collectors.
I do not know everything there is to know about stamps or the hobby in general. I have been collecting a little more than 48 years and in that time I have acquired enough knowledge to know that I don't know enough. There are still plenty of things for me to learn.

If you are interested in trading material, I would very much like to have items of mail from each of India's states.
I understand that this would be a difficult collection to complete and it could take a fair amount of time, but that is the nature of collecting and I enjoy....."the thrill of the hunt". Older material is more interesting to me because it reminds me of my younger days when I was just beginning my collection. It is very difficult to find material like this in good condition here in the US.
If you could find items like this for me, I would reward you well.

I am almost 56, I've been collecting about 49-50 years. I started collecting when I was in my first year of school in 1957-58. At that time my older brother and one of my uncles gave me stamps and helped me learn. Over the years I have helped many young people and adults get started by giving stamps and information to them. I really enjoy sharing this hobby, the feeling of discovery, the thrill of the hunt excitement that I felt as a beginner and still feel whenever a package arrives in the mail from a purchase or one of my trading friends from all over the world.

My main interests are leaning more towards postal history......whole covers/envelopes that been sent through the mail, of any age. I enjoy older material and stamps for the most part because they remind me of my younger days when I had just begun my collection, but there are also many newer items that I find appealing.
It is not necessary for you to send anything except a request for my free stamp offer, but if you choose to, I will gladly add whatever you send to my collection.

I collect used envelopes with cancels and stamps on them. Envelopes that carried letters to someone. I am trying to collect an envelope from all the countries involved with mylot, and from each of my mylot friends. Good condition new stamps are the ones you buy at the post office to send mail, stamps that are not used or damaged.
Would you be interested in creating a collection like this starting with something from me?
