The three original broadcast networks (ABC, CBS & NBC) are showing to many reruns way to often. This trend started before the Christmas holiday. There was a day when these networks didn't start reruns until the start of spring. If they can't afford to produce many episodes of these popular shows, show what episodes that you have for the season each week CONSECUTIVELY then give the time slot to a midseason replacement that is not so expensive. I am so sick of this that I am ready to give up watching programs from all three of those networks. Contact the networks by e-mail, snail mail and telephone! After that, contact the advertiser's of these shows and tell them how you feel. Let them help us bring our message to the networks.

I have noticed it too. It seems the reruns are in more abundance than the original shows this season. It also seems that the frequency is more than in past seasons. I hate it. We don't have cable or satalitte, so I am either stuck with the reruns or not watching. I like your idea about contacting the networks. Maybe if the executives see that the viewers are very unhappy they will make a change for next year. Do you happen to have any contact information? I will see what I can dig up on my end.

I really hate it when they take a really popular show like "Grey's Anatomy" leave you with a really dramatic ending then show reruns for the next several weeks.
