Is myLot content "Tabloid" fodder?

Looking at some of the discussions and postings, I wonder if myLot could be unknowingly and inadvertantly providing a forum for 'Tabloid' type commentary?!

To be honest I joined MyLot because I wanted to meet people and have interesting discussions. You may well be right with your comments but then I guess this happens everywhere, just listen to some conversations in the street and you will find the same.
