| netgear wired/wireless router  | | | |  I went from the modem to Netgear and had it for a couple of weeks now. I chose the cable for wired one. The DG range. Has anyone else here used this or currently has this now. and what do you think or it? Did you like or hate it? did you find it better and pc run faster or caused problems?

| |  I hope you are from Britain....i will tell you the steps of configuring this too....
You need to update the latest firmware ....by visting
http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/(modelno of router).asp
then try the following steps.....
hard Reset after upgrading the firmware
1)ran the setup wizard..
2)pppoa detected and enter your username and password from ISP
3)now it will take you to router status and if you see an ip address under "adsl port" ,your internet connnection is working fine...
4)Else soft reset and start once again......
5)wireless settings you can do by yourself..........
It is a very good router.......
