I finally found a church!

Thats wonderful news and even though i found my church long ago as a devout Roman Catholic i am happy to see that you are so excited about it I hope it lives up to everything you want and that it never makes you devout Now live the life the church preaches and you are on the way to salvation ...Happy Trails Have a Great day

A home church that makes you feel comfortable and loved is so important to one's Christian walk...Unfortunately, hubby pretty much was born into the one we attend (Baptist) and does not want to leave...there are some great people in it, but I truly really don't feel 'home'...

That's really nice for you, if it feels like home for you then that's wonderful. I find a lot of churchs' intimidating, especially some of the big ones. If you are comfortable with it then 'Go for it'

I saw your interests, among them religion, find love, spirituality.Going to church. You have found happiness at church. You are lucky. Stay happy. Many people don't find it there, anymore. When you do find your spiritual home you want to tell the world about it. If there is love it is a true church.
I have found great love too at church, in a special church, the big Dome in Lund,in southern Sweden. I just sat on the bench there at the back, AFTER having stepped out of the whole church system!!!!. And joined the Bahai Faith! Read on please. I had first found my Faith in God through the Founder of the Bahai Faith: Bahá'u'lláh (1817 - 1892)which means the "Glory of God".I was an atheist, became a believer in God through Him, went to church and met Jesus in His majesty and love, in my heart. He, Jesus, can also meet you outside the religious organisations, I have found. Can He not?........ That big old church in Lund vibrated with a thousand year old prayers and hymns that had been performed in it.I felt it. For the first time I read the psalms and understood them, what they were about. I got many a tear in my eyes and sat there alone, a long time, thankful in wonderment, fashinated. I was home. I know what it means. Everybody has to go home. All mankind . I was overhelmed by this miraculous event, unheard of, and by sweet feelings from this divine encounter.So.... I was helped by my Bahai Faith to become a believer in Christ. This is unheard of I know, the workings of God we don 't know. You are the first one here to know about this, my experence.
I just wanted to tell you about my church going, my coming home to Jesus Christ. A quite extraordnary story. That Christmas I celebrated the birth of Christ in truth.And now I defend Christ whenever I meet people who are antagonistic towards Him. We Bahais do that regularly. This is I believe, the beginning of the real reconciling of religions,and divine pedagogics. Important today when religions aren't revered because they are hostile towards each other.People step away from God because of that, even ridiculing our Creator, blaming Him for all wrongs in the world all the while they don't believe.How can that be at all.

I just hope that you have found the true church. The true church started in Jerusalem on Pentecost day as shown in Acts Chapter 2. I am a member of that Church and we have our worship services every Sunday consisting of singing, praying, message (reading the Holy Bible), giving, and taking the Lord's Supper as commanded by the Lord. Each of us break the bread and drink the fruit of the vine.
