How do you feel when your elders try tp advise you?

I am pretty sure I'm classified as "the young", and I have to tell you, that I do listen it my elders. However, that doesn't mean I always think their right just because they have more experience. I always listen to their advice, and merge it with what I think I should do, and the advice of others.

I actuallt thank the older generation when they help to guide me. I mean they have already been there and done that so why not listen?

honestly, i feel offended, it's as if i can't do things on my own. although, at the back of my mind, i know they have a good point.
