What do you think the best form of investment? Term deposit< mutual fund, or equity? Equity is risky but return a re high. Mutual fuunds are also of different risk level. term deposit is the safest but returns are not attractive. What is your take?

According to me the best form of investment is investing in mutual funds. Mutual funds have low risks but you can enjoy with the huge intrest.

It depends on your tolerance for risk.

If you have a large tolerance for risk, or have a steady long-term income that you have many chances of success, you can go with venture capital.

If you are 64 1/2 years old, maybe you want to stick to corporate bonds.

I however, recommend against mutual funds. 80% of the time, they fail to beat the market, what you should do is get an index fund. They are like mutual funds, but they are not managed, so there is no management fee, and they just try to mimic the entire stock market.

Mutual funds are run by managers who can get 1-3% better than the market consistently (maybe) but when you add in the fees, they usually miss it by 2-3%. 2-3% is a LOT, it adds up over a few years VERY quickly.

Once again though, it depends on your age, risk tolerance and your intentions with the money.
