How do you cook pheasant?  

Well my husband brought home a very small one a few weeks ago and I cooked it in the microwave in a big bowl covered over then we had it in stew. To be honest I think it was not as nice as chicken and the bones are very little and sharp like needles. We spent a lot of time removing bones and that spoilt it for us. Im sure there must be better ways to cook it but anyway if you do decide to try them, beware of those bones.

Well, I live in Canada and there is a pheasant season. I believe it is in late fall. Hunters in certain areas pay big bucks to hunt pheasants. There is also a small cottage industry in those areas, where people are for hire to pluck, gut and prepare the pheasants for the freezer, even pack them in your cooler already frozen.

So, you should be able to find out from your Govt. if there are regulations pertaining to hunting pheasants.

I have cooked pheasant with green grapes. It was really tasty, but it has to be a fair size, otherwise the bones are too small as another person told you.
