We buy almost all of the Disney movies that come out on DVD so our collection is quite extensive. My children love not only the annimated movies but the teen flicks and musicals that Disney puts out such as High School Musical and Parent Trap. If my kids like the movie enough, they'll insist on watching it over and over and over again, but it does keep us sane during those long road trips as we pop a movie in the van's DVD player and they are as calm and quiet as can be.

High School Musical? I have heard of this one but didn't rent it. Is it really worth it? My kids watch them over and over. I think if you can wear a DVD out, they will.
Thanks for the input. I gave you another + for it.

My kids are 19 months, 4 and 6. All three of them love High School Musical and we bought it the day it was released on DVD. Since them we must have seen it an additional 100 times...literally.
There is a good storyline and a lot of singing and dancing so even my youngest gets into it.

We have a lot os holes in our Disney Collection, but we do have quite a few. My mom bought my son a ton in bulk from Ebay. I think it came with 10 classics. And then we had a few to start with, anyway. One that I don't have in our collection that I really want is "The Little Mermaid."

The Little Mermaid is one of my favorites. I don't have a original VHS but I have one from the 5 years ago. Then it came out on DVD so I had to buy it again for my daughter. Girls are so expensive. LOL Sounds like you have a great collections. Thank You so much for replying. I left you a + for it.

i buy them all. my daughter is 3 and she allready had a disney collection of about 30 movies. i buy them all because i've never seen them either so it's a little for me as well. and i know they go back in the disney vault and i won't be able to get them again for 10 years so that's why we buy them as soon as they come out.

It is funny that you mention the disney vault. I can remember the Lion King on VHS 11 years ago. My oldest son got it for his 3rd birthay. When it came out on DVD, I had to have a copy. I have almost everything on VHS and DVD now. My kids wore out the tapes from 10 years of viewing them.

Yeah but since I don't have any kids, I have to admit that I buy these for myself. LOL. I really love those cartoons. Call me childish but I can watch cartoons with my nephews all day long. My favorites that I have on DVD right now are Finding Nemo, Mulan, Beauty and Beast, and Aladdin.

For a special occasion, I'll buy them immediately otherwise I'll just for an offer because the new releases kinda expensive. But if I wait just one month later, the price will just going down. I bought some disney DVD, but not as much as disney interactive CD/DVD's.

Normally if I am going to get movies on DvD I will get them used from the local video store. I know the manager and she will put something aside for me if I let her know that I want it.
I will buy the limited edition tin sets and the like for collectible reasons.
When I had lots of money I used to buy what ever I wanted when it came out.

Hi there Connie. Boy does my answer come late, but better late then never i always say and plus i did not buy dvd's at that time 2 years ago. So i started buying dvd-s first offline from my local stores, than also online as some were a lot cheaper from the amazon sites so i ended up with quite a nice collection of Disney magic having 28 i think dvd's in my personal collection. My next 2 targets are the 2 DVD versions of The Incredibles and Monsters Inc but i am waiting for their price to drop a little more from the amazon.com site.

My sister has been buying a lot of the lately, although that's just because she just went to college to study traditional animation. The only one I own is Wall-E, although she only goes to school, like, 7 miles away from me, so if I want to watch any I can just go bug her.
