Fave movie quotes

My all-time favorite is from GodfatherII. "Fredo you broke my heart, you broke my heart." But I heard one i had forgot. It is from Speed, "Don't attempt to grow a brain!"And there is "Say hello to my little friend!" from Scarface.And from the Godfather " Keep your friends close, your enemies closer."And from Casablanca "We'll always have Paris".And "Stella!!!" from A Streetcar Named Desire. And "It's the stuff that dreams are made of" from The Maltese Falcon. I know I'm am forgetting some others but this is all i can remember right now.

My favorite movie quote is from the movie THE NOTEBOOK which says "I am no one special. I am a common girl with common thoughts. I have led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to my name and soon i'll be forgotten. I loved someone with all my heart and soul, for me that was always been enough"

I love this quote very much because it can represent my personality. It can express my feeling every now and then.

From an older movie...Flashdance...the male character says to the girl..."If you give up your dream, you die". I was so struck by the truth in that statement I never forgot it, even though I forgot the characters name that said it! LOL

Well, I don't remember being inspired by specific movie quotes, but I do have some favorites...

But really the first thing that came to mind was from The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross, which was actually a TV series. He always used to say "We don't make mistakes - we have happy little accidents."
And there's always the wonderful lines by Sherrif of Rottingham from Robin Hood, Men in Tights: "King illegal forest to pig wild kill in it a is! I mean, don't you know it's illegal to kill a wild pig in the king's forest?" "Over that boy hand! ...Hand over that boy!"
