| | 2.  Asylum (3404) | 3 years ago |  There are a vast number of good Linux distributions available, and I have tried a few of them. I have also tried quite a few of the Live CD versions, which can be used without installing anything to the computer.
I still use Windows on my desktop computer because there are a great deal of Windows applications that I use regularly. My current version of Linux that I use on my laptop is Xandros, which has the ability to run Microsoft Office.
