After at least a year of not doing any artwork at all, I have decided to start doing my artwork again. I had lost the motivation of doing my artwork after getting depressed. After hearing all the compliments and nice things you all have said about my artwork, I am going to start up again and will post pictures each piece that I finish. Thank you for helping me get back into a hobby that I enjoyed very much while growing up. :-)

I'm glad your modivation is back and I too look forward to seeing some of your artwork. Sometimes it takes friends to give you that extra boost and inspiration for you to find that it never left, just was "on hold" for a while...
Again, I will be checking back for artwork :)

Artwork? I didn't know about that! But it would be nice!!
Maybe you can post it as a discussion in future and we can play experts and analyse/criticise it. ;-)

Well done Kgwat. I haven't actually seen any of your art work though. Please try and post some pics of the work you have done in the past if you can. I and others would love to see it I'm sure. I am completely envious of anyone with artisitic ability as mine is only half baked. Do you paint in watercolour or oils? I'm glad you have come out of your depression enough to enjoy this wonderful talent you have...

Thank you for the very kind words as I appreciate very much and will include a picture here of a piece of work that I did in the past. A lot of my friends liked this one a lot. I do mostly watercolors and I also use fabric markers for shirts and paint pens for other objects.

I know how that goes. I got into art a few years ago. Nothing major, just painted a few canvases, but I had never had any classes or instructions, so it is a little frustrating trying to make a painting come out when you don't have the technical skills needed. I started doing mostly decorative painting on lamps and tables and stuff like that. I got all excited...it's fun to be creative. I painted on a lot of bars of soaps and used them as gifts. Pretty soon, I had accumulated a lot of painted things I tried to sell in a crafter's mall and on ebay. Well...I ended up wanting to paint and no one wanting my stuff! LOL! So, it became depressing to have it around staring at me, so I haven't painted in about 6 months. Good luck and have fun! Painting is one of the most creative and satisfying things to do! Be sure to share with us!
