I don't think so. He was not innocent. Because he kiled many shia people in his government. He also led iraq to a situation where Iraq could not face America in the war. He should atleast have a strong army. But he did not have a fighter plane as well. But i think he should not be hangged in this age. He should be put into jail but not to be killed. Thanks

Saddam Hussain was the head of country... besides this he ruined the life of his countrymen in all respects and worldwide also. They attacked Iran and killed alot there mercilessly.d Saddam always wanted to get the fame and wanted to have full power in his hands as they have large deposits of oil...this is the only reason why people around the globe had to follow Him! SAddam supported US but see how US reacted to this.

You could also say that Hitler was innocent of any war crimes because he thought that he was "doing it for his country" when he ordered the construction of the extermination camps where millions of people where murdered. Or maybe you are one of those people who think that never happened? Of course Saddam was not innocent. Apart from other from other crimes he was directly responsible for the murder of thousands of Kurds by poison gas.

saddam maybe the head of a country.But he is a normal human being.and his life is not more valuable than one among thousands who have lost their lives.so ...don't you think he deserves what he got?
