Any Jane Austin fans?

Well, I have never read any of her works: ( and really only recently become familiar with her name. In the past 2 months I have seen Pride and Prejudice (the BBC version and the Kiera Knightly(sp) version) Sense and Sensibility and Emma. I will soon be watching War and Peace (I think that is one of hers)
Some friends who consider themselves Pride and Prejudice snobs really enjoyed the 6 hr bbc version the best. I am afraid I found that one a bit boring? i did however really like the newer version, although at times I could not understand what was being said and had to rewind or use captions.
