The War on Terror - A Futile War?

Last Sunday I have seen on CNN only a glimpse of a program caled "Our Children's Children's War", and it talked about the War on Terror. They said that this one was longer than World War 2 (or something like that), and this might take a long time. Somehow I feel that this might be an endless war that no one might win. Tehy said that terrorism is a tactic, and I must say that bringing an end to terrorism itself is a Herculean task that sucked the taxpayers' money (our money that we have worked hard for) just for military purposes only. So the War on Terror is most likely to be a longlasting war, and it's a waste of time sending soldiers to Iraq, Afghanistan and Iran (and most possibly N. Korea) to fight a futile war.
I don't know if the world is ready for anymore Hitler-esque brainwashing, but somehow there must be another way to at least slow the knowledge of terrorism to a trickle. Instead of wasting bullets to kill terrorists, how about strictly limiting the knowledge of terrorism and propaganda so that very few will learn of it? Some terrorists misinterpret and even twist the words of the Quaran and the meaning of jihad, a holy war, in order to justify the killing of "infidels", such as America, Israel, the Western cultures, etc. So why not try to untangle those misinterpretations straight, and teach the world what terrorism REALLY means?

Until the phrase "root cause" stops being a dirty word, it is futile. People will fight for their rights in any way possible. To the people they're fighting, it often seems like terrorism. We have been considered terrorists by Native Americans, Mexicans, the British, Iraqis, and many other people. Were any of those people right? Were all of them right? Were all of them wrong?
Rage creates violence. End the rage, end the violence.

Although terrorist is very, very subjective, terrorism is not. Over the years, several people have been called "terrorists" simply because they had views different from that of those seeking to dictate to and plunder from them. I do not consider anyone fighting off dictators and/or plunderers, a terrorist: I call such an individual a FREEDOM FIGHTER - fighting for the right to be able to determine his/her own destiny in his/her homeland!
Terrorism, on the other hand, as beautifully defined by dictionary.com is:
The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.
Terrorism is indeed a tactic, especially when it comes to economic sanctions (the most terroristic tactic used historically to coerce other nations into complying with the demands of bullies, regardless of the consequences of compliance for the threatened nation).
True, real terrorists often misinterpret and take Holy texts out-of-context to satisfy their whims, such as was done in the days of open slavery. (Did you know that slavery was fueled and justified by so-called Christians taking the Bible out-of-context?) Dictionary.com gives an appropriate definition of terrorism. And I believe to invade another nation and kill its people, destroy their properties and disable their economy allegedly in the name of "liberating them" are outright acts of terrorism.

Considering we just signed a 30 year oil contract with Iraq, I think it's safe to say that this war on so-called terror will never end, at least not in my lifetime. The Hitleresque brainwashing has already begun. The RFID chips (mark of the B east) are scheduled to be mandatory in May of 2008. All kinds of insanity is going on right now and this little show that Billary & Obama are putting on to distract people is working. Stick with Lou Dobbs, DuoMaxwell. Ole Lou is one of the few truth-speakers we have left in the media. When you feel you are ready for some more truth, check out Alex Jones' radio show at www.prisonplanet.tv Listen at your convenience, any time 24/7.
Another site you may want to check out is www.ronpaulexplore.com This man doesn't falter or hum-haw around. He gives real answers to questions and gives a damn about the state of the U.S. as well as the state of the world. Haven't heard a candidate sound this honest since Anderson ran back in 1980...pretty sad that a 9 year old can tell who lies to the camera and who doesn't, don't ya think?
Anyway, there are free movies at PrisonPlanet too. It's either www.prisonplanet.com or www.prisonplanet.tv for the radio show, the movies, credible articles by credible people, etc.
You may also want to look up Ron Paul & Alex Jones on MySpace.com. There's so much we have been lied to about since well before I was born, it just makes me sick.

Terrorism can be eliminated from this world only when there is no baise thinking from the western countries towards middle east and developing countries. The Un is there but it function is nil.Our thoughts should be clear in eliminating real enemies.America should stop indulging in internals affairs of other countries.Isreal which has broken all rules is not touched until now.No one should stop other countries fron developing nuclear. This may help, the world to get rid of terrorism.

If only Muslims would stand up and seperate the religion from those actions and that awful ideology. Unfortunately, the Islamist reformation seems to be spreading, perhaps because of oil money giving resources to those that support a crazy ideology.
