Was This an NDE???  |

|  I was just on another post and something came to mind about myself. Back in 1989 I got really sick with pneumonia and I almost died. I was in the ICU and I was pumped with all kinds of medicines to allow me to breath. My oxygen level was down below 50.. the blood oxygen... when they did a blood gas. I was really sick. I remember feeling like I was drifting and the next thing I knew I was on top of the bed. I was standing on top of my bed... I didn't. I felt I had left my body and I was ( don't think I'm crazy here) feeling colors. I was in a whole different realm where colors had texture and feeling each had their own frequency, if you will.
These colors were the spirits or souls of other people, children and adults.. all colors in a river of light. I was on my bed and I could see this river off in the distance and I could hear the colors shouting and laughing with glee! i wanted so much to be a part of them, so I jumped off my bed like a diving board and flew through the air to become one with the river of colored lights.
Just then nurses came in and started doing a sternal rub on me and causing painful stimuli for me to respond. I woke up and asked them what happened and they said my pulse got very slow.
I spoke to my doctor and he sluffed it off as a hallucination from the aminophelyine that I got through the Iv.
Note, I never left the bed, this all seemed to be within my spirit, but I felt myself stand on the bed and leap off and fly into the river of light.
Do you think I had an Near Death Experience? I think so.
Have you ever had one? Can you describe it?

| |  Wow! That's an awesome story. Sure sounds like a near death experience to me, not that I'm an expert. It sounds like it was a beautiful experience. I'm "almost" jealous the way you describe the beauty of your experience. I wonder, others who have had NDE's claim that they are no longer afraid of death. Do you feel this way as well? I think that it will be pure joy to return to the spiritual dimension from whence we came.

| | No my heart never stopped, they said I had an episode of bradycardia. this happened right as the episode happened.. I mean I was in lala land feeling colors and flying into be with the colors... and then someone is hurting my chest really badly with a sternal rub. | | | |

Yes friend, I do believe that it was a near death experience that you had. I"ve heard of similar stories before, particularly involving colors-So far I can't really say that I've ever had one. But I do believe that there are other realms out there with different frequencies as you've mentioned....We live in a very magnificent universe and God only allow us to see things that he feel we are able to handle. You were lucky to have experienced this. I'm sure that it make you feel very special indeed. Happy mylotting!

BTW, I almost forget to mention that on several occasions I"ve had dreams which lead me to believe that if I did or didn't do a certain thing that it would be the end of this life for me. When I woke up I began to feel very thankful that I was still alive. I can't exactly remember the dream right now but I do know that there is something else here that I have gotta do b4 I leave the earth and go on to my eternal home. | | | | | | |
