Do you dress up for work ?  

I used to wear a classic black suit when I was at work, teamed with a purple top, and black court shoes. I always felt that I looked smart and professional, although there were some days it would take me a while to get dressed and ready.

I do not dress up for work, and sometimes I do not even make it to the makeup thing. I wear nice slacks, on Fidays jeans if I want to. I wear casual dresses if I like. Sturdy, supportive shoes, both jobs, because I am on my feet, walk a lot, work on floors laid over concrete slab. If I am smart, I plan my clothes the night before, so I can be leisurely, drink coffee in the morning. I eat breakfast, and pack a lunch. Maybe myLot a little. I definitely do not live a "dress up" life.

We do not have a dress code for cleaning. Just good shoes which is what I would want anyway. No matter where I work I dress to please me and normally I do express who and what I am within reasonableness. I too do not take long to get ready for work. Good thing since there are more important things to do!

Yes - sadly I have to - it is part of the "dress code"! in my office. So even though I start at 6.30am I still have to wear a smart suit, high heels, and make-up! I always lay out my clothes the night before though (even down to the matching ear-rings!), so all I have to do in the morning is dress! And you would be surprised the amount of times I am still putting make-up on when l'm on the bus!!!

I don't work outside my home, but when I was teaching at home, I always dressedd up before any of my students arrived. Now I still like to dress up. After I have finished my household chores I will put on clean dressy clothes (not too dressy)as I never know if I will have unexpected visitors.

I'm home on disability right now. But working as a manager in a group home..I would dress for comfort. It's not easy to restrain someone in a dress and heels...lol There's a lot of "hands on work"... The only time I would dress up is if I had to attend a meeting or something. But the average day would be comfortable clothes you can bend and be active in.

Actually it depends on my mood and if there are any customers coming into the building...Some days I feel like heels, nice pants, and shirt...Other days I where jeans and a nice top...

We are not required to dress up everyday, but dress presentable...

I go on my mood how I feel.. If I feel blah, jeans, if I had a good night sleep and feel sexy, heels it is..lol

I wear "business casual" with a white lab coat over it, almost always slacks and a blouse or sweater unless I have a meeting after work, then I wear a suit. I don't go for the fashion footwear at work; when you're on your feet most of the day, you quickly choose comfort over fashion. If I'm going out, I'll bring dressier shoes with heels to change into. The makeup and jewelery is minimal, also, so it doesn't really take me long to get ready.

Back when I lived in the UK before I had the kids, I worked in a store that sold clubbing gear for young people in their very late teens and early twenties.

We were required to wear a short black shirt and a white blouse, along with wearing our hair down and makeup.

It used to take me close to an hour to get ready every morning to make sure everything was just right.

I ended up quitting the job, I loved it, but the demands oh how to look got too much for me.

If it's clean, not torn or stained, and fits it's work clothes!
