| What is the difference between a witch and a warlock?  | | | |  If you are a woman and study the occult you are proclaimed a witch. Yet if a man studies the same occult they are said to be Warlocks. The way I look at it is that if you study the occult whether being a man or woman you should be called a witch. Is this societies way of keeping the sexes seperate?

| |  Actually there is no such thing (in the real world) as a Warlock...if a male practices Witchcraft/Wicca or the Occult etc etc he is also called a Witch...the term Warlock is from fairy tales and movies ;-)

I've read in a few sources that Warlock means "Oathbreaker" which is something else entirely.
