What was the single most important thing you learned in school?  | |  What was it that has stayed with you for all the years after you walked out of school for the last time?
Or perhaps something special that college left you with?
Often during the school years we wonder why they teach us what they do.
I was in the first all male typing class in my school of 2000 students. In those days there were no personal computers. Typing was for girls who wanted to be secretaries. Not us guys!
We thought it was pretty funny to be taking typing, but as we laughed, we learned. And I am sooooo glad I did.
As soon as I bought my first computer, all my typing skills came back.
Now, typing is the most important thing I learned in school.

Maybe it will come up in a trivia game sometime and I will know the answer. | |

| | | 3. martianwoman (3904) | 1 year ago |  well, i was many years is same school, 12 years in same school, was general school and licee too...and is name wasLic.Zoia Kosmodemianskaya...long name..ha? now his name are "Central school for girls"from Bucharest..is a very old school....before 1945 was a chatolic school, after as name say was a comunist school, and after 1989, become old school who was before, a great scholl with tradition, where was the best peoples from this city...well was a good school, with great espectations, and all what i leorn when i was there, i remember, word by word, so...is a very goos scholl, profile, languaces, history..i remember with such a lot os pleasure about my school...

In college, i learned to do things on my own. I experienced being alone so i have nothing to do but to depend and trust myself.
